Tomorrow, we will celebrate the fifth anniversary of the release of The Witcher 3 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Available since last fall on Switch, the title continues to sell well, and many players hope to soon find the world of the game.
During a question and answer session with CD Projekt, a journalist from VG 24/7 asked the writer Jakub Szamałek if CD Projekt had already imagined a title in which Cirilla would be the main character. Obviously Szamalek did not clearly answer this question, but clearly leave the door open to this idea :
I regret not having been able to explore Ciri’s past a little more, he is an incredibly rich and complex character. For obvious reasons, well, it disappeared for almost two-thirds of the game, and was not as present as we writers would have liked. But hey, that may be something we can come back to in the future.
A first clue as to the next title in the world of the Witcher? Nothing is less certain, and CD Projekt should not announce anything on this subject before the release of Cyberpunk 2077, next September 17.
