Frogwares has just announced Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One, a new installment in its series of investigative thillers starring the famous detective. In this case, it seems to be a prequel, since the protagonist will be a 21-year-old Sherlock Holmes. It will arrive in 2021 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, as well as for the new generation of consoles.
In this new installment of the series, Sherlock returns to the shores of the Mediterranean where his mother died to face old mysteries of the past while trying to demonstrate his worth and rebellious youth spirit. “But underneath the island’s vibrant urban veneer, the rhythm of local life hits a more sinister beat. Crime and corruption, a twisted sense of justice and morality… These are just some obstacles in your search for the truth », they assure the creators of games like The Sinking City.
Sherlock Holmes: Chapter One will feature an open world in which through deception, violence and deduction, our protagonist will have to break through the mysteries that surround the city. Also accompanied by a friend from the past, Jon, who came before the inseparable John Watson.
