I'm David Whitfield, Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics. Today, we here at En Masse Entertainment, together with our friends at BonusXP, are excited to announce that The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics will launch worldwide on February 4, 2020!
With The Dark Crystal: The Age of Resistance Tactics, our aim was to re-envision the world of The Dark Crystal as a strategy game of strategy. The game is well-structured, promising a depth of tactics of some sort, while the remainder is accessible to newcomers in response to tactical games. We're excited that The Dark Crystal players will similarly find the world of Thra sad by playing, and more, Netflix Original series events. Players will encounter even unprecedented playable characters, stories, and situations.
There are about 50 unique game-based campaign battles taking place all over the Terrace. We'll let you search for new partners and customize their troops by assigning them jobs and giving them new equipment. You will be able to choose from a specific gear, adjustable skills, and a comprehensive work schedule containing over 15 tasks.
We are pretty excited about how the characters from the show turn out, as the team has worked hard to duplicate the great characters, including Aughra, Tra's clever and ancient metaphor; Chamberlain, Skeksis of recklessness and cruelty; and Deet, the animalless caretaker of the key is Gelfling's rebellious hopes.
The game adds a unique speaker to teams based on turns in the form of powerful events that will require players to change their strategy on-the-fly and keep it on their toes. We focus primarily on five different categories, each providing the ability to learn more about the Gelfling groups and their histories.
The game will be on the PlayStation Store as a digital download on February 4, 2020.
