Magic: Legends is one of several Magic: The Gathering games announced at The Game Awards in December. The game has produced its first game trailer.
Magic: Legend Originally revealed with the help of a CGI trailer, developer Cryptic Studios subsequently announced that the game was an action RPG.
Developers have now released a first glance at Magic: Legends gameplay, and it turns out it's very much like a Diablo-style action RPG. The video was revealed via Game Informer as part of the magazine's January cover story.
Although the action game will be launched in real time from the top down, players will be able to build 12-card decks, four of which give active abilities. As you can see in the video, the cards are looped as you play.
We still have a lot of unknowns at this point, but this is an interesting setup. You can see it for yourself in the video.
Magic: Legends is a free game and will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this year.
