Expectations are very high with the RX 6000 provided with information from AMD regarding the progress we can expect with these graphics cards. However, even if the display is promising, as it passes 60 FPS in 4K with a single GPU, will it be able to compete with other NVIDIA alternatives under Ampere?
AMD RX 6000, is it a true 4K GPU to play?
NVIDIA steps to try to cover this GPU are starting to make sense. As we saw yesterday, Lisa Su has shown the effectiveness of this card in three games: Borderlands 3, COD: Modern Warfare y Gears of War 5, all in Ultra quality.
First, the average FPS rating for 61, the second of 88 and in the third part 73What can happen if we cross this data and other information in the same games? Yes, we could have a percentage of work that would be closer to the truth to a greater or lesser degree.
For this, data from Eurogamer, Hexus and OC3D were used and compared with the RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 3080. Before knowing and seeing the comparisons, two specific things should be explained:
- AMD did not explicitly state that the highest power model available within the RX 6000 was used, although it has shown this.
- Second, the tests are performed on Ryzen 9 5900XA CPU that no one has ever received yet and because of that he thinks it will probably be a little faster than the i9-10900K, the data may be slightly different.
That said, let’s take a look at the first results to get an initial idea of where AMD will compete.
AMD will crush Turing, but has failed with Ampere
There is no doubt that AMD would do a great job with BIG Navi and RDNA 2. Data crosses say it will be much faster than RTX 2080 Ti and more competitive with RTX 3080, which is why NVIDIA is shocked and set up different SKUs to fill the market for your models , trying to complain about this GPU.
Although it can only hit the Ampere card at Borderlands 3 by taking OC3D data, it is sometimes competitive and may face RTX 3080 face-to-face, especially if the price is low.
Similarly, it is interesting that AMD did not skip anything with the use of Ray Tracing on these GPUs during the event, so we will have to wait until the 28th of this month to know all the details of these graphics cards, which are currently declaring war at its top rival.
Something we don’t see from it Radeon VII and we saw how the GPU ended, but it seems now that the story will be very different and that Lisa Su can really hurt NVIDIA.
