Battletech is a very broad concept of strategy. Swap both items between each game in Care mode, be it the mecca you face, the weapons you acquire or the avatars that occur and change the fate of your game with hair. Ever since we updated the base game, revised visual aids like Urban Warfare or Flashpoint, we now return to it because it's just published a DLC called Heavy Metal full of content: eight robots, multiple weapon systems and even a Flashpoint mini campaign.

The title says it all, this from metal and paper. Newcomers are Flea, Rifleman, Archer, Assassin, Vulcan, Phoenix Hawk, Annihilator and Bull Shark, the last of which is a special short story about DLC. Due to the free update you can take two others, called Warhammer and Marauder. To be well equipped, comes a nice arsenal, similar to the new mud, with a new and expanded effect. We'll talk about it later.

Of the eight robots, seven are historical series BattleTech and the newest, newly introduced Bull Shark. LosTech is a Star League-era with lots of weapons points, but that's heating up something bad. As we said, it is associated with your Flashpoint, but this little campaign is not and will cost us many hours of travel, because it has to fill the contracts and casualties that exist between mission and mission. It will allow us to deal with two histories such as Bounty Hunter and Black Widow.

The Bull Shark can carry multiple weapons and is capable of damaging over 500 points, never seen (at least by us), but because it was so hot we had to make some changes and put some basic weapons at random (++ + or better) to install new heatsinks. We lost an attack fire, but it works and, nonetheless, we keep mud. This is a very new combat feature because it deals damage to a wide area of ​​all existing units, between 10 and 50 points, and reaches invisible, but known radar areas. Its bad point is that it accepts payment for each mission. It's nice to combine it with some of the most agile meccas.

The other seven, presented at Heavy Metal, bring a mix of styles. From sick and fast like Flea or Assassin to heavy Archer expert. When you start reviewing each one individually, you look at the fact that the studio wanted to play all the sticks, so they are very interactive with your previous team. Flea, in addition, is ready for another new weapon, the COIL Beam beam, whose power is dictated by the user's escape energy. It is very useful in open spaces but it leaves you more marketable.

After traveling for hours, the big question is whether this DLC, which costs 19,99 euros separately, is worth it. The answer is a resounding yes. We have a series of Flashpoints where we can deal with two legendary mecca, and win a new super-mecca. There are three new ones to choose from that we love. Weapon novels open up a range of techniques to heavy robots, and, thanks to COIL Beam, and to the light ones, which were left out of the game.

The good thing is that the Heavy Metal content is very well integrated into BattleTech, and it's all working to start a new job as if you've upgraded it. For those who want more action, this is the right DLC.
