First-Party Xbox Series X Games will not be temporarily separated, Microsoft Says

FirstParty, Games, Microsoft, separated, series, temporarily, Xbox

The first-team Xbox Series X games will not be the same for at least the first year or two, if not for a new debate with the head of Xbox Game Studios. Speaking on the MCVUK website, Matt Booty from Xbox confirmed what many thought MMicrosoft Games will be front and back compatible.

"As our content comes out the following year, for two years, all of our PC games, will play down that family of devices," Booty told the site. "We want to make sure that when someone invests in the Xbox between now (and the Series X) they feel that they are investing a good deal and that we are committed to all the content."

Microsoft had mentioned that at least one original Xbox Series X title, Halo: Give ine, i would be coming to Xbox One – the current generation.

This is a huge departure from the fact that new console recognition tends to work in the past. When the Xbox One came out in 2013, first-team games were published similar Forza Motorsport 5 and Ryse: Son of Rome did not come to the Xbox 360, the idea that people who want to play the latest Microsoft games need the latest Microsoft console.

Based on that Xbox Series X model, Microsoft is handling its next-generation hardware such as smartphones and PCs. Instead of massive platform explosions every five to 10 years, hardware releases are becoming more and more popular, games are moving back and forth, at least for a while.

That's good news for anyone who can't upgrade to a new console right away. Or some third-party publishers are only releasing games on the next hardware, between the new Xbox Game Studio and Game Pass games, and even the people currently owning the Xbox One (like me!) Who will not be left behind.
