PS5 firmware update is expected to improve performance

Expected, firmware, improve, performance, PS5, update

The PS5 system update after the first release is here.

Sony just launched a new firmware update PS5 Global game consoles. You will notice that this is the first firmware for the next-generation console since it was made available to the public last week.

Sony will of course release other updates before then, but only those with earlier access rights can see these updates. For the rest of us, including those who bought consoles in Europe, the Middle East and other regions this week, this will be the first firmware that must be downloaded after setting up the system.

868 MB Update to upgrade the system software to the version 20.02-02.25.00. Unfortunately, since the PS4 era, Sony seems to continue to maintain its vague, undescribed patch notes habit. The only “patch note” available here is the new update “improves system performance”.

We won’t actually know about the newly updated features until the players test it. The release of PS5 is not without problems, so we at least hope that this patch can solve the “rest mode” problem. Even better, if it solves the problem that players encounter when using external storage devices, so much better, this problem has been upgraded to kill someone’s PS5.
