Sony Pictures hopes to grab Ruben Fleischer from "Zombie Paradise: Double Click" to direct "Uncharted".
According to Deadline, I heard that Sony ranked Fleischer at the top to replace Travis Knight as Unknown movie Director (thanks GamesRadar).
In addition to the sequel to "Zombie World", Fleischer also directed the movie "Venom" starring Tom Hardy.
Earlier this month, it was revealed that Knight was the sixth director to leave Sony's Uncharted project. After Shawn Levy left the project in August 2019, he was appointed director.
Knight has reportedly left the project due to clashes with his star Spider-Man: Homecoming Tom Holland.
Mark Wahlberg will play Sully in the film, and the Netherlands will play the young Nathan Drake.
The film's previous directors were Seth Gordon, Neil Burger, and David O. Russell.
