The search for a director for the film for the successful Uncharted brand goes into the next round. After several candidates jumped again and again, the director of "Zombieland" should judge it.

The film version of Uncharted is not a good star, because it has been in planning for years. Again and again the most important employees, namely the director who was actually intended, left the ship. The prestigious position has already been filled several times and when it finally seemed that now things were finally moving forward, Travis Knight also took his hat off on schedule. But now there is apparently a successor.
According to a Deadline report, Sony Pictures has made a decision in the meantime and was able to win the next director for the project with Ruben Fleischer. Previously, he was responsible for the successful strips "Zombieland" and "Venom" in the same position.
In the movie for the successful Naughty Dog brand, Tom Holland is supposed to take on the role of protagonist Nathan Drake. Hollywood star Mark Wahlberg, who also applied for this role, will be seen as Sidekick Sully. With Fleischer, the two now come to the side of the now seventh director after David O. Russell, Neil Burger, Shawn Levy and others previously vacated the chair for a variety of reasons.
The film is said to be a prequel to the PlayStation games and tells the story of how Nathan Drak and Victor Sullivan meet. The adventure can best be compared to the cult series "Indiana Jones".
