Various specialized media such as Eurogamer e IGN have echoed the reports of several users who claim that the console does not download certain titles. The first report was related to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and we imagine that due to the popularity of the game this is repeated a lot in several buyers.
The error is that, when you buy the cross-gen version, the one that contains the PS4 and PS5 version, the system allows you to download everything (there are several bonuses for pre-ordering) and automatically launches the PS4 version. For obvious reasons this is not desirable on PS5 so here begins a series of nonsense.

If you find that your game doesn’t look that good, you can remove the PS4 version and try to download the PlayStation 5 version. We say try because you probably can’t, the second part of the bug implies that the console just won’t download This version if you already downloaded the one for PlayStation 4 so you basically can’t play COD.
What Activision recommends today is that you restart the factory console, losing all your data, so that the system allows you to download the game again and this time you only choose the PS5 version.
On the other hand, today Sony launched an update that nobody knows what it modifies, just yesterday we were talking about the bug in the sleep mode and now about this related to COD but that many players also report with titles that have a PS4 version. For now there have been no users talking about a solution to the bugs with the new patch, so we will have to keep waiting.
PlayStation 5 premiered in several countries on November 12 and will debut in the rest of the world this November 19, hopefully by then these problems have been fixed.
