However, Nintendo Europe was reluctant about it and, for now, does not offer this option.
Today we get surprising news from Nintendo France. Apparently, this company has decided to uncheck Nintendo Europe and offer this free repair.
The information has been confirmed by Philippe Lavoue Nintendo France, who says that, right now, Joy-Con users who have problems with them can repair or replace them for free even if they are no longer under warranty. You just have to contact customer service and explain the problem so that the operation is carried out.
So far it is unknown if any other region of Europe will join this operation, so we will be attentive to more details.
