We've seen Shift Joy-Con inspired by the creation of a GameCube controller, but now with one capable, running YouTube channel Shank models, take things to another level by creating a fully functional GameCube Joy-Con set, which you can read all about in the video above.
While this should be the main focus here, we couldn't help but notice Mike Choi – founder of switchch Flip Grip – has been working on its own GameCube Switch control mode for most of 2019. Unfortunately, work is still underway:
Mike described how he was crying from the inside after finding out that someone had beaten him and even interrogated him if he had to finish his "like" job. Many of his fans have sent messages of encouragement saying how great it would be to see him finish his formation.
As you can see in his tweet above, it's a nice build up to the one in the video at the top of the page – a switchch instead of a shell (or "dock / controller" as Mike describes it) a single GameCube controller.
What do you think about GameCube controllers being converted to Joy-Con? Would you like to see Mike finish his design? Share your thoughts below.
