“We know that many of you do not turn off the console once you finish playing but go further. Entertainment, movies, TV shows, music and live gameplays add to the PlayStation 5 experience, ”says Phil Rosenberg, vice president of global partners and development.
All these applications, to which more will be added soon, will be located in the space exclusively dedicated to entertainment within PS5, Media, which will be located next to the main game screen, to be able to switch from one content to another quickly.
The applications they will come already downloaded and thanks to the Control Center, users will be able to change, pause or skip music quickly, for which Sony has also devised a remote control to easily control this section. This remote also allows you to adjust the volume and power settings on compatible TVs, and it also has dedicated home buttons for Disney +, Netflix, Spotify, and YouTube.
