The Mass Effect series will take center stage again. In two times. First stage, Mass Effect Legendary Edition which will offer an improved version of the first three episodes of the franchise in spring 2021. After that a completely new work that was made official by Bioware and of which we don’t know anything at the moment. Discovered three works of art in the book BioWare: Stories and secrets from 25 years of game developmentHowever, work published by Dark Horse may provide some pointers.

The first picture can show a silhouette of a native angara. Which could point to a return to the Andromeda Galaxy. Note the Mud Skipper vehicle on the left in the picture, which is identical to the one on the leftofficial artwork published by Bioware A few days earlier.

The second picture seems to show us a structure whose architecture is inspired by the remains, a technologically advanced breed whose part of history enriches the lore of Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Finally, the last picture seems to stand out the construction of a new cosmodetic relay, a feat born from harvesting technologies that enables instant movement between two precise points. The MR-7 inscription – for mass relays – would confirm this point and could suggest that there will be new areas within the Andromeda Galaxy that need to be explored. Some fans also believe it could allow a return to the Milky Way, the original galaxy of the first episodes.

It is not yet known whether the action will take place in the Andromeda Galaxy. Many puzzles remain to be discovered after the controversial latest installment in the famous Bioware series. Let us be patient, new information should not reach us until next year.

In the meantime, if you want to immerse yourself in the universe of Mass effectAll episodes (the original trilogy and Andromeda) are available in EA Play, which is also built into Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
