Q: What do you find most exciting about developing and creating? Ark: survival evolved brought to life on next generation hardware? “
ONE: Being able to experience ark To immerse yourself in its absolutely final form and into its vast primeval worlds, as the artists and designers of our team had ultimately intended.
Q: You didn’t just get the power and performance of the Xbox Series X | S for faster loading times, etc. Which features of the Xbox Series X | That’s what you loved most when you were using it in the development of Xbox | Ark: survival evolved?
ONE: Thanks to the increased memory, we can load almost the entire game world in the background, which enabled us to eliminate the so-called “tether” when hosting in certain multiplayer modes, while the fast storage medium of the next-gen console makes it easier to get started arkThe gameplay and traveling around the area are extremely fast and smooth. Coupled with the extreme graphics improvements of the upgrade in terms of drawing distance, texture resolution, and level of detail, these changes give the feel of the game ark Feel like a new, immersive adventure on a 4K HDR TV with Xbox Series X.
Q: How do these improvements affect a player’s experience? Ark: survival evolved?
ONE: When you can see so much further, you can plan your journey through the game world more effectively. For example, if you can spot a particular resource on the distant horizon, now is your time to decide if you want to do the trek out there. In the Series X version of, your field of vision now extends over almost the entire game world arkThis has a huge impact on both a player’s game strategy and their immersion. Also local / couch co-op for 2 players in ark is now a nice thing at 4K in the X Series, where every player on the split screen has extremely sharp output with no graphical compromise. The game’s split-screen, drop-in / drop-out multiplayer, which also works when hosting an online session, is one of the little-known features of Ark on Xbox and it really shines in this updated version.
Q: Why did your development team choose to focus on higher resolution, visual fidelity, and drawing distances as areas of improvement for? Ark: survival evolved?
ONE: Most of the essential visual data was already present in the game’s large installation size. So we thought it would be ideal to output them to the next generation of hardware with such a dramatic new difference in clarity and level of detail.
Q: How do you expect fans of Ark: survival evolved It will be with these improvements to playing on Xbox Series X | S react?
ONE: With further distances, higher resolution, and better frame rates, I think gamers on Xbox Series X can have an advantage online. But even if someone is just playing the game cooperatively or casually, survival in the dangerous worlds of ARK becomes all the more intense when you see the environments rendered with such newly discovered detail.
Q: How’s the development on Xbox Series X | S?
ONE: It’s like giving the keys to a tricked sports car and telling it to take a spin: The power under the hood is a lot of fun and a little scary.
Q: What makes the Xbox Series X | S / the next generation in current or future projects that you couldn’t have achieved with the previous generation of consoles?
ONE: With the features of the Xbox Series X | S we have the graphics power, memory speed, and storage to provide players with a much more detailed and realistic environment than before.
