The Fall Guys official Twitter teases players with a small preview of what the developers are working on for the upcoming Season 3.
While apparently not as popular to stream as it was at launch, Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout is still popular with many and is getting stronger with updates. New cosmetics are still being made as an Untitled Goose Game crossover, as well as new stages for the upcoming season.
There was a lot to look forward to with Fall Guys Season 2, but perhaps not as much as the players wanted. While a few new stages were added, they were still overshadowed by the original stages, many of which players had gotten used to. While the new costumes are great, they are not the main reason why most players choose the game. As such, the onus falls on Season 3 to gain momentum once again, and according to the developers, they are working on that.
The Mediatonic developers have plans to make Season 3 bigger than Season 2 when it comes to levels. This effort is fueled by a large influx of developers thanks to recruiting efforts, and work is already underway. As of this writing, it is not yet known when Season 3 will be released, what its theme will be, or even if it has one in the first place. However, the developers have provided a small sneak peek of what’s in the works on the Season 3 levels.
It’s been a fun week taking over the Twitter account, but before we go…
…who wants to see a screenshot from a Season 3 level we tested yesterday? 👀

It is difficult to distinguish exactly what is happening in the image, but some things stand out. The pink color scheme is to be expected as pink and purple are usually Fall Guys default colors. There is a curved object that appears to be part of a wheel approaching a kind of hub. The Fall Guys developers are confident that there will be plenty of new levels in Season 3, and a mechanic that involves wheels or vehicles could certainly make creating multiple levels easier.
Whether or not the new levels will grow the game’s player base at this point is up for debate. It’s hard to deny that Among Us replaced Fall Guys as the streaming and party game of choice for many, and the Fall Guys community has apparently not been as active online since.
However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t many who like the game yet. There’s more reason to love it too, with things like Hard Mode being added to Fall Guys for players who want more challenges. Separate tournaments have been held in the past, and as the game grows, your community is likely to prosper as well.
Fall Guys is available for PC and PS4.
