Starting this Tuesday, December 1st, Red Dead Online will be sold as a standalone version on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store and Steam. You no longer have to buy Red Dead Redemption II, which it is included in, to immerse yourself in a connected open world in the west. However, a premium is always paid.

The introductory price of Red Dead Online is 4.99 dollars until February 15, 2021. After that, it costs 19.99 dollars. There must be 123 GB of free space for the storage space. It is possible to unlock the story mode of Red Dead Redemption II by purchasing it. Rockstar reminds you that consoles require PlayStation Plus and Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, and that PS4 and Xbox One versions on PS5 and Xbox Series X | S are backwards compatible.
Note that in the second half of 2021, GTA Online will also have the joy of moving to standalone.
