Although Monster Hunter has not yet reached theaters or digital distribution, Artemis is already a reality for the continuity of the series.
The heroine played by Milla Jovovich will be the center of the new Monster Hunter World crossover: Iceborne, where we will have a special adventure. The monster hunter will travel to an unknown world and show her skills.
In a short one-minute trailer we will be able to see the design used for Artemis, with her hunter suit in the film, and that we will have a special mission with a story to know its true power.
The same trailer revealed that the voice of Artemis will be the same Milla Jovovich, which is a big point in favor of the crossover between the film and the current edition of the Capcom series.

Alice no, Artemis yes
By a strange conjunction of fate, Milla Jovovich, Paul WS Anderson and Capcom have been inseparably linked for many years.
Since 2002, the actress, the director (and her husband) and the Japanese house have been participants in the adaptation of the Resident Evil saga in cinemas, with Jovovich being the protagonist of the series playing the original character Alice.
Resident Evil fundamentally altered the continuity of video games to tell a different story that was very polarizing for years, but has become a brand specific to action cinema over time.
Although Anderson did not direct all of the films, he was the overall producer for the entire series and developed a close relationship with Capcom, being central to the development of the Monster Hunter film.
But it is curious to see that Alice never had a real participation in the Resident Evil video games, despite being a character with potential to make the leap. While Artemis may already become part of the canon of the Monster Hunter series, despite having very different narratives.
