Rainbow Six Siege will update to the new generation next week

Rainbow Six Siege It was one of the first games to confirm an update for next-generation consoles. Ubisoft promised that the tactical shooter will not only be compatible for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S, but will also take advantage of the properties of the new systems to improve the player experience.

It will be available from December 1. As seen in the trend with these improvements, gamers will be able to choose between a performance mode that increases visual fluidity up to 120 frames per second in 1080p, or increase the 4K resolution without losing the flow of motion.

The resolution mode will be set to native 4K for Xbox Series X and 1728p for Series S. PlayStation 5 users will be able to enjoy the haptic feedback features offered by the DualSense controller. You can even jump directly to game modes from the activities section of the PS5 menu.

All the progress accumulated in the versions of the previous generation will be carried over to the new versions. You can also play with other players between generations. However, cross-platform play is not yet available.

Hopefully this update is not affected by the problem some users have encountered

with other Ubisoft games.
