In November, PS Plus subscribers enjoyed an absolutely stacked range of games to try out. Although December does not reach those same heights, there is still some fun with the selection. Subscribers will get Rocket Arena and Just Cause 4 on PS4, while Worms Rumble is available for both Sony consoles.

Worms Rumble is perhaps the most interesting addition here. The game takes that tried and true format of Worms and puts it in a battle royale. It might not be the direction I’d take with the fan-favorite series, but it’s good to see the team pushing the franchise forward in new ways.
Just Cause 4, unfortunately, the downward trend the series has been on since the excellent sequel continued. However, if you’re looking for some silly fun, you can probably find it here. Running in Rico’s wingsuit and grappling hook basically never goes out of style.
Finally, Rocket Arena is a 3v3 shooter that was released earlier this year. At launch, the game was lacking in content, but a new influx of players could help revive the game live. At the very least, it’s probably worth a try with a group of friends.
December PS Plus games will be released on December 1. So, expect to pick up Worms Rumble, Just Cause 4, and Rocket Arena early next week. It’s also worth noting that PlayStation will be hosting a free multiplayer weekend from December 19-20. So if you don’t have the service and you want to try an online game, then that would be the perfect time to do it.
