In Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny the player will follow the adventures of Zed, a puny-looking (young) zombie who claims to have eliminated the worst threat to the universe: the Divine Deah-Tructor. A claim that it is hard to believe in the depths of the world of the dead, but that he will support it by telling his story that has to answer many questions: why did he pursue the most powerful monster of creation and how did he done that?
Zed is not dead
We will have no answers here and will have to be content with a reminder of Zed’s particularity: he uses ultra-reincarnation, a magic with which he returns as often as his resurrection cycle imposes on him. He will also have a small band of well behaved characters on his side, such as his sister Bieko, Cerbre, the undead dog, Overlord Ivar, Piyori Nijino, leader of the Prism Rangers of the Rainbow Squadron, or Melodia, a dreamy princess. And Prinny won’t be missing, you can imagine.
Available for PS4 and Nintendo Switch in Japan on January 28th. Disgaea 6 will arrive here with French subtitles on the Nintendo console only in summer 2021.
