5G will be one of the best features of this year's iPhone, at least internally and regardless of how it directly affects the consumer. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has many reports outlining what to expect on the iPhone of this 2020 and in particular what your 5G connection will be like. A new note for analysts collected by MacRumors clarifies more details.
5G is disabled in countries where it can be fully integrated
As we know, up to four iPhone models have two different versions of the connection, which can be sub-6GHz and mmWave. According to the reviewer, Wave models will be available in five countries: United States, Canada, Japan, South Korea and the United Kingdom.
On the other hand, the analyst also claims that Apple could disable sub-6GHz operation in countries that do not offer 5G service or have 5G completely obsolete. Here there are many details and problems to be solved, though it would not be taken away if we look at the history of ECG for example, which was gradually sent to countries and regions on the Apple Watch.
The last details shown by Ming-Chi Kuo are related to the availability of these phones. Last week, analyst Mehdi Hosseini explained that he expects less than 6GHz models in September and WaveWave models for December or January 2020. This delay is not entirely clear by Kui, who believes that we will see the simultaneous launch of all autumn devices. Yes, all of this is crazy, even though it is Ming-Chi Kuo who currently has the best record of Apple rumors.
My biggest fear with all the 5G-related controversy on the iPhone for 2020 is that it's not a feature that affects the user in a way that they can't really see. That is, it provides better connectivity and higher speeds in this regard, however not something "visible" like a better camera, a different size screen or a bigger change in design.
In other words, this year's leaks are so focused on 5G that the user will experience a happy disappointment during launch. Except that Apple is not to hide something else as something new, because I find it hard to believe that during the keyword you will spend more than a minute on 5G.
