Although it does not yet have a release date, it is slated for before the first quarter of 2021. This may be a result of the current pandemic and game performance issues. Although they have not been great, they won’t get any more complex until multiplayer starts. The multiplayer launch was scheduled for December 3, 2020. The development team comments as follows.
“As part of our commitment to solving gameplay issues, we have decided to postpone Watch Dogs Legion online mode until early 2021, which will allow us to focus on solving single player issues. And that will give us more time to test the multiplayer modes, so they will be a smooth experience when it is released ”
Watch Dogs Legion it was a game with good reception and good sales volume for Ubisoft. And being one of the first intergenerational games, it’s enjoying some popularity right now. Thus, the good reception of this component can add to the longevity of the title. Remember that Legion Guard Dogs
Remember that the multiplayer component proposed for Watch Dogs Legion is ambitious, will include 4-player cooperative missions with unique stories, in addition to competitive modes which are already the tradition in the series. I really believe these modes, along with the Season Pass content, can keep the game up to date.
