Do you hear the? It’s the arrival of season 2 in Missile league! Check out the music season when it goes live on December 9th. This setlist is packed with new content. Everything you can expect can be found here.
New missile pass
A new rocket pass is ready to take the stage on December 9th. The 70+ levels of items are led by the newest car, the R3MX. This sleek new car is out of the box for all Rocket Pass Premium users, and the encore, the R3MX GMT, is waiting for level 70.
There are also plenty of opening acts in this Rocket Pass like the Filiformer and EQ-RL decals, woofer and MTRX wheels, as well as the explosions of the riser and light show targets. And for the first time, some of the items found in the Rocket Pass will pulse and flash to the beat of the menu and arena music! You can see all 70 levels of items on the Season 2 Rocket Pass website.
Don’t forget that Rocket Pass Premium also gives you an XP boost, plus additional weekly and seasonal challenges that will allow you to unlock new levels even faster. You also get access to the Pro-Tiers after level 70, where you can unlock painted, certified, and special edition versions of select Rocket Pass items!
New arena
It’s not a concert without a venue. Therefore the gates open to Missile leagueThe newest arena, Neon Fields! When the second season goes live, watch out for this colorful soundstage in online and personal games. Take a look in the season 2 trailer above.
Player anthems
There will be a new way of celebrating when Season 2 goes live. Player Anthems are the latest customization element that allows you to have your favorite songs play after goals, epic parades, and after getting MVP awards. You can unlock new songs and songs you know from the history of the Rocket League through Challenges, Rocket Pass and the Item Shop!
New content from Kaskade
Season 2 even has its own marquee act: Kaskade! We have partnered with electronic record label Monstercat and hitmaker Kaskade to bring new music inspired by the Rocket League that you can hear in-game. Check out the first track, “Flip Reset,” starring Will K in the season two trailer, and stay tuned throughout the season to hear more cascade music.
Xbox Series X | S improvements
We announced that last month Missile league will be for Xbox Series X | S, and these will be released in an update the day before Season 2 is released. Soon you will be able to enjoy Missile league at a speed of 120 frames per second. A new Video Quality setting is added to the Video tab of the Settings menu, allowing users to choose quality and performance.

- quality: 4K resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
- performance: The game runs at a resolution of 2688 × 1512 (70% of 4K) at 120 FPS with HDR
Xbox Series S.
- quality: 1080p resolution at 60 FPS with HDR
- performance: The game runs at 1344 × 756 (70% of 1080p) resolution at 120 FPS with HDR
New limited time mode
During the second season there is a new guest: Rocket Labs! Rocket Labs are regularly added as an LTM playlist during the second season. In this LTM you can try out non-standard and even experimental arenas with soccar and other game modes. Stay tuned later in Season 2 when Rocket Labs makes its LTM debut!
