Unfortunately, not all fans of Cyberpunk 2077 will experience the release on December 10th. On this occasion, the community is starting a number of campaigns, for example to bring the active Reddit user to Johnny Mixitmanwho died unexpectedly of a cardiac aneurysm and to commemorate other deceased members. The makers of the pen & paper template have already spoken out and want to immortalize Johnny in the upcoming issue. The fans have even more great ideas.
To commemorate: competition and street kid path
Since the father of the late fan Johnny received the sad news of his son’s death in Cyberpunk-Subreddit published, thousands of users have expressed their condolences and called for community actions.

Father and son wanted to play Cyberpunk 2077 at the same time, but in different ways. Mixitman writes:
“My Johnny isn’t going to play Cyberpunk 2077. We’ll have to do it for him. He would have played as a compassionate street kid trying to make the world a better place. Here is my amazing son with his girlfriend. He’s just beginning this one.” Week asked her father’s permission to marry. “
In the comments, many write that they will now choose the street kid background for their first playthrough. In addition, some want to adapt the appearance of their character to Johnny and play music by the thrash metal band Slayer – Johnny wears a robe with their logo in the photo shown.

Meanwhile on Twitter runs under #PlayForJohnny a competition in which two issues of Cyberpunk 2077 are given away. Expressly not only to Johnny, but also thought of all other fanswho died before release. In the comments, many offered to donate additional copies. If possible, those who could not otherwise afford the game should take part – at least many fans are appealing for it.

Fans want keepsakes in the game
Aside from being immortalized in the pen and paper game, some would also like to see a dedication for Johnny – and others who share his fate – in Cyberpunk 2077. Such dedications are no longer uncommon in games, for example Blizzard has built the late streamer Reckful as an NPC in World of Warcraft.
So far there is no official statement from the developers. Shortly before the release, due to lack of time, it would probably be impossible to include an appreciation anyway. Therefore, fans hope for a corresponding mini DLC or something similar in the future.
