Again and again coming games make leaks and speculations on the net before the official announcements. These often prove to be true, but some later turn out to be incorrect or fake. In this regard, Assassin's Creed Ragnarok, the supposedly new part of the well-known action series from Ubisoft, was particularly popular. After two editions appeared at retailers, a big leak followed a little later with alleged information about gameplay and release date. But is there really nothing in this case?

At least that's what analyst Daniel Ahmad, who is well-known in the video game sector, now claims, given the numerous rumors and leaks that he has now spoken out. Before that, there was also a very blurry screenshot that was supposed to show the female protagonist of the game.

According to Ahmad, almost all of the leaked information is not really correct and incorrect. And: Despite the product entries on Amazon and GameStop, the new Assassin's Creed should not even have the subtitle Ragnarok, says Ahmad.

"All of the new Assassin's Creed leaks were not applicable recently. It won't even be called Ragnarok," said Ahmad meaningfully in the gaming forum ResetEra, Before he adds: "Of course, some details are correct, such as the improved combat system, for example. But in general, they are not really accurate."

It was already clear that Ubisoft was working on things like the combat system; after all, the new Assassin's Creed is not meant to be a simple copy in another era, but also to develop in a playful way. According to the analyst, however, the essential leak information such as the specific setting etc. is not applicable.

It fits that in the meantime the TwitterUsers @ xj0nathan has spoken and claims that the blurry image mentioned was created by him and a fake. It remains to be seen how the new Assassin's Creed will really be designed and when Ubisoft will do it.
