Amazon has taken up contact with customers who went away empty-handed at the launch of the PS5, among other things due to mass stolen packages.
The launch of the PS5 was anything but smooth, especially in Europe. Numerous Amazon customers reported deliveries that contained similarly heavy products, only no console. In many places, parcels were also stolen, in some cases by messengers themselves.
Now Amazon is finally responding appropriately to the problem. Customers who have reported difficulties with delivery are currently being contacted by the online retailer. As soon as new stocks arrive, a copy is put aside for them. Since reimbursements have already been made last week, Amazon again requires consent to be able to charge the corresponding payment method again at the given time.
In order to keep Amazon interested in a PlayStation 5, the company has set a deadline of December 5 at 11:59 p.m. After customers have contacted customer service, there is no longer any need to manually place an order. One can only hope that the second stock will be delivered reliably.
Well done @AmazonUK for “putting it right”. Hopefully it’ll actually arrive this time… #ps5 pic.twitter.com/XllLIy2ocV
