… When we were talking about things like, say, Leprechaun or Chucky or something like that, having a tiny killer is something that makes us wonder, ‘How should we do it? Would it be fun to be literally a meter tall and run in the grass chasing people? This was because we had the space to try some crazy things and we found a recipe that was pretty cool.
The Twins was the result of such conversations, and the developers hope that its playstyle will encourage players to create new strategies. “It’s almost like you have a radar on the map while you do something else,” the company commented. “And being able to make the jump, you have a lot of new tools at your disposal. Hopefully that will shake things up a bit.
