If you are waiting for Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, you have to be patient. Publisher Paradox has bad news again.
Originally, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 should appear in early 2020. After two postponements, the vampire RPG by Paradox will be a long time coming. This is what Ebba Ljungerud, CEO of Paradox, gave in a newspaper interview with the Swedish placera known.
Accordingly, Bloodlines 2 not before the second half of 2021 appear. Even a further shift to the year 2022 cannot be ruled out. The reasons for this are numerous. Due to the postponements, the publisher is planning to also publish the game on the new consoles. That in turn delayed the release of Bloodlines 2. Ljungerud explains that the team needs additional developer kits from the console manufacturers. But there is currently a shortage of these, once again due to the corona pandemic.
A blow to the project was the departure of Cara Ellison, who left the publisher as Senior Narrative Designer in October this year. An experienced substitute has already been found in Samantha Wallschlaeger. Wallschlaeger recently worked on major projects such as Guild Wars 2, Mass Effect: Andromeda and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
