Game news Project Athia (Square Enix) will be a two-year PS5 exclusive console

Sony has released a new trailer that compiles a collection of available and future PS5 games. In the stack we find the Athia project from Square Enix, from which we determine the duration of console exclusivity.

As we can read in the trailer above, The Athia project will be “also available on PC” but will not be released “for at least 24 months after its release” on consoles other than the PS5.. Xbox series gamers will therefore have to be patient to discover Luminous Productions’ first project, which little is known about right now other than that it is based on an open world and the Luminous Engine. It was announced during the PS5 Showcase last June.

The trailer also reminds us that Godfall won’t be released on the Xbox series until May 12, 2021, while Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo are annual PS5 consoles exclusive. As for the games developed by PlayStation Studios, Gran Turismo 7, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart and Horizon: Forbidden West are slated for 2021.
