Along with the release of the RC beta version of iOS 14.2 and iPadOS 14.2, Apple is releasing its namesakes for watchOS and tvOS. The development cycle and beta of the next versions of the operating systems with the RC beta version of watchOS 7.2 and tvOS 14.3.
Release Candidate: the prelude to the final version
In this version there shouldn’t be any big news, in fact we only hope that some errors will be fixed. The iOS and iPadOS betas bring little change compared to the previous version, so the watchOS and tvOS variants, which still have less, should follow this same path.
As for the availability of the final version, we hope that it will be given before the Christmas holidays. Indeed, as Apple announced, the Fintess + service is due to arrive in the United States, which needs a software update to function. A quick calculation therefore places the arrival of the final version next Monday.
We can enter the beta cycle by following these steps, but keep in mind that we are talking development versions containing bugs.
Already in the beta cycle we will find the update in the app Settings as an OTA update. During the first few hours, Apple’s servers may receive more demand than usual, so the wait time may be extended.
