Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War patch notes are available for all platforms, affecting both multiplayer and Zombies modes.
The patch notes are intended to fix an issue with weapon XP, which has been happening since Black Ops Cold War was first released last month. Treyarch has determined that Weapon XP has been lower than it should be since launch, so it is now easier to level up your weapons and unlock new accessories and perks for them. This applies to both multiplayer and Zombies modes.
These patch notes for Black Ops Cold War are definitely shorter than what you may be used to by now with live service games. That’s mainly because the new patch focuses almost exclusively on the weapon XP issue. However, in addition to fixing the issue, Treyarch has said that they will be holding more Double XP events during December as a thank you to the player base for looking forward to the weapon XP changes.
