In the course of the Game Awards 2020, Evil Dead: The Game, a new co-op horror shooter from Saber Interactive, the development studio behind World War Z.

Evil Dead is based on the film series of the same name by film producer and director Sam Raimi. As in the original, her protagonist accompanies Ashley J. Williams in the fight against innumerable enemies possessed by the Kandarian demon.

In the game, however, Ash is not on his own. The first trailer already reveals that Evil Dead: The Game is a Koop-Third-Person-Shooter becomes. With up to three friends you can go shooting or hitting. Of course, the chainsaw, which has already scared a number of demons in the original film, should by no means be missing.

Evil Dead presents itself as a classic third-person slaughter, in which blood is certainly not spared. In between, a driving sequence can also be seen. It is not clear from the material whether you can drive yourself or whether the scene runs automatically.

PvP features planned: The press release for the announcement also states that a fifth player can intervene in Evil Dead. As a Kandarian demon, it is his job to stop Ash and his companions and to put enough enemies on their necks. More details on the process of the PvP component will follow in the future.

Evil Dead: The Game soll 2021 appear. There is no fixed release date yet. Incidentally, Evil Dead is not to be confused with the newly announced Evil West by Flying Wild Hog.
