All monsters in content warning

At launch, there are 18 monsters in Content Warning, and each has their own unique look, and sometimes a unique way of escaping their traps. We’ve got all their names and photos detailed below, plus how to escape them (if you can).

Keep in mind that some enemies appear in hordes on rare occasions. We recommend just running if you see a horde, unless you encounter a particularly harmless or unthreatening enemy type.

Thanks to user Neftali on Steam for finding them all first in the game files and to user WorldEndWonder on Steam for filling in some of the blanks, here’s a list of all monsters in content warning and how to escape them:

Big slap Run away! Don’t let yourself get slapped, otherwise you will lose a large amount of health.

Bombs Don’t get too close or the bombs will blow you both up. Alternatively, you can have it throw a bomb near you, then run around trying to blast the creature with its own ammo.

barnacle ball Hide behind structures and walls, as its wind current can suck you in and its projectile attack can hurt you from afar if Barnacle Ball has you in its sights (or whatever it’s got you with). see).

Dog Stay away from his laser sights or you’ll take a constant stream of damage from his projectiles. Try to lose the dog on turns or jump over its head to quickly escape.

Ear If you see Ear, move away from him slowly, as sprinting will alert him to your presence. If you are caught by Ear, try shouting into your mic to create a loud noise, as this annoys him.

Eye type Avoid lighting Eye Guy up close, as he will spot you immediately. Instead, record it from afar. If Eye Guy starts chasing you, run away as usual and you’ll eventually outrun him if you start with a full stamina bar.

Sway The only way to escape Flicker is to flee the area he is in when you see the warning signs that he is near. The problem is that Flicker is generally invisible. Instead of looking for the monster, you should pay close attention to your camera. If there are any glitches or blurring, Flicker is close, if the screen is flashing red, then Flicker is very close, so you should look at the wall while you exit the area, just in case you see Flicker and would be instantly killed. Make sure to tell your friends to stay away, otherwise they’ll be killed instantly too!

Harpoon The only way to escape this scary ghost child is to keep running from him until about half a minute passes. You can also have it jump on you if you’re confident enough that you can avoid it, as it takes a while for Harpoon to recover after an unsuccessful jump, giving you more time to run away.

Jelly The only way to escape Jello is to outrun him, but he’s one of the fastest enemies in the game. The good news is that Jello doesn’t cause any harm if you’re caught by one of these monsters, but he will transport you to areas where other monsters are found. Great if you need more footage, but bad if you were about to leave!

Larva Run away if you ever see this centipede-like creature in the distance! He can be very fast when he wants to be and can take a lot of weight off you and your friends because he will throw you at another person if you get caught. So if you can’t escape it, at least tell your friends to run away.

Mouth Apparently he only attacks you if you’re alone, so stay close to at least one friend if you want to avoid him. If by chance you are alone and see this weird little guy in the distance, run away and try to find one of your friends! We’ve seen some reports that Mouthe can mute your friends after you shout, but that hasn’t happened to us yet.

Slurper If you get caught by a Slurper that is slowly dragging you towards the ceiling, have a friend throw an object at it by holding down the “Q” button and then releasing it. Or put down your items to distract him. Be ready to run right after it, because it doesn’t take long for the Slurper to try and pick someone up.

To tear out Shine a light on this dark creature to escape its deadly grip. You’ll know a Snatcho is near when you hear a loud noise.

Spider Try to avoid its projectile cobwebs when running away from a spider, as it is very difficult to escape if you get caught in one. Getting caught exposes you to attacks from the spider and any other nearby enemies.

Mathematics Toolbox Also known as the Whisker, this monster can only dash in straight lines, so you can bait it easily if it corners you and you need to make room to run away from it. You’ll know you’re near a Wisk if you hear a whisking/mixing sound nearby.

Tears The only way to escape a crybaby is to have a friend solve the Captcha puzzle outside the cage you’re stuck in. Speaking from personal experience, this means you’re dead from the moment you’re trapped if you’re a single Spooktuber. To keep the Mourner from moving, someone must be watching him at all times.

Zombie These common enemies are quite slow and therefore can be easily avoided by walking or fleeing the area they are in. This makes them very easy to film.
