Find all three pieces of the Trapped in Time puzzle in Astro Bit is not as easy as the previous levels. The Trapped In Time level is part of Serpent Starway, the third galaxy that Astro visits as part of his attempt to repair the Mothership.

Collecting puzzle pieces is essential in Astro Bot if you want to unlock fun features around the crash site, such as the dressing room to dress Astro up in or the Gatcha machine to get cool items to add to the crash site for the characters you’ve collected.

Without further ado, here is all Trapped In Time puzzle piece locations in Astro Bot.

Here are the three locations of the Trapped In Time puzzle pieces in Astro Bot:

Location of puzzle piece 1

The first piece of the Trapped In Time puzzle is found when you’re gliding through the level. As you fly, look for a golden snake that wiggles across the sand from left to right. When you spot it, use R2 to increase your speed and fly straight towards the snake.

Once you hit the snake, the puzzle piece will appear right in front of you before you reach the landing zone – make sure to go through it to collect it!

Location of puzzle piece 2

The second piece of the Trapped In Time puzzle is found after you open the bottle cap for the first time with your Chicken Jet Pack.

Head to the left of the checkpoint marker to find an enemy hiding in a small cove. Destroy them, then press and hold Square to pull the rope trigger underneath them.

A flower propeller umbrella will come out, catch it and stay outside again.

Propel yourself with this jet pack until it stops, then release it and use R2 or L2 to propel yourself even higher with the jet pack. Then, once you reach the top of the jet pack’s propulsion, jump and glide to the top of the tower where the enemy caterpillar is parading around a bottle.

Stand at the edge of this tower and destroy every part of the enemy chain. However, once they stop and start shaking, make sure not to touch them or they will electrocute you.

Once you’ve defeated the enemy, go around the arch in the bottle and hit it repeatedly to open it. When the liquid has completely drained, go in and jump to collect the puzzle piece.

Location of puzzle piece 3

The third piece of the Trapped In Time puzzle is found towards the end of the indoor section of this level. After activating the flower to raise the platforms with enemies on them, there is a checkpoint marker at the edge of an area filled with gold coins and three electrocuted enemies.

Hover over these enemies and use Astro Bot’s laser feet to defeat them. Don’t touch them or you’ll get an electric shock. As you hover over these enemies to destroy them, the glass floor beneath them will also be shattered, but that’s what you want.

Underneath the glass floor are two platforms that will protect you from the slime. Drop down onto one of these platforms and move the camera around until you see the final puzzle piece safely tucked away in a hidden ledge here.
