THE best mounts from Palworld are worth tracking down, especially if you want to make it easier to traverse the different terrain types between you and capture more creatures to add to your collection.
Now, before we get into that, we would like to say that the Palworld frame that is best for you may not be the same for someone else. Choosing the best one is all about evaluating your needs, which mount suits your personal playstyle, and what type of team you want to build. We came up with our list here by looking at the mount’s speed, its usefulness in a base, and its overall power when fighting others.
Without further ado, here is our list of the best frames from Palworld.

Best Mounts at Palworld
This is our list of the best Palworld mounts we’ve found so far. However, do remember that the best mount for you may not be the same as for someone else – If you want a cute mount of a certain type but someone else wants a fierce Fire type, you will ultimately have different views on which is better.
With that in mind, here is our pick of the best Palworld frames:
Jetragon
Jetragon is currently one of the hardest, if not the hardest, Pals to fight and capture in Palworld. They are classified as flying mounts, meaning they are useful for covering large distances quickly, including slightly easier steep climbs. Be careful though, Jetragon is powerful and they put up a serious fight when you try to capture them. We recommend that you be level 49 or higher with a team of friends of the same level before facing this friend. They are fast and strong, making them the perfect mount to add to your list.
You must be at level 50 (the maximum level in Palworld) to unlock the necessary item in the tech tree to be able to ride Jetragon.
Faleris
Another flying mount is on this list! Faleris is a mid-high level buddy that you can try to take on after spending quite a bit of time exploring the world and leveling up your character. This Fire-type Pal is typically a level three transport, with the level reflecting its speed and effectiveness in moving you quickly.
However, you will need to be level 38 to unlock the saddle in the technology tree allowing you to tame this mount. But it’s worth it, especially until you’re strong enough to take on Jetragon. The Faleris is a good alternative.
Azurobe
Here is our first swim mount, Azurobe. You can face Azurobe as a wild boss in a lake in the center of the map, near the Twin Knights Bridge – that’s where we collected ours. We recommend taking an Electric-type or Ice-type buddy with you, as Azurobe is a Water and Dragon type and is weak to those particular elements.
Now, swim mounts aren’t necessarily the fastest in Palworld but the Azurobe takes the lead in this specific area. It’s not that fast on land, but if you want to cross a large body of water with little to no effort, then pick up an Azurobe and reach level 24 to unlock its saddle recipe.
Additionally, the Azurobe’s passive abilities are deadly – especially when this buddy unleashes its dragon breath ability that it learns at level 30. Two hits of this and most enemies will collapse to their knees or flippers ( it depends on who you are as a friend). struggle).
Pyrin and Pyrin Noct
Pyrin has two variations, the orange flame colored Pyrin, and then its elegant nocturnal cousin – Pyrin Noct. We didn’t notice a huge difference in speed between the two, as they are both fast. Yes, Fenglope is faster in terms of speed, but he’s a buddy better suited for late-game captures at level 35 or above, while Pyrins are easier to obtain for levels above 17.
There seems to be a difference in power between the two types, with Pyrin Noct taking the edge in this area, so if you have a choice, we recommend holding it to get the Noct if you’re looking for a powerful and fast mount. .
That being said, as a mount, both variants of the Pyrin are worth capturing and using to cross the country at high speed. You won’t need to work a ton to be able to interact with or catch a Pyrin, you can even hatch one from a large burning egg like we did.
However, one thing to know is that the saddle for Pyrin unlocks at level 30 but the saddle for Pyrin Noct requires a little more work and unlocks at level 33.
Fenglope
Now we can talk about Fenglope. This Pal can usually be found wandering around the center of Obsidian Mountain, but it has a fairly high base level and can be difficult to get your hands on if your character or Pal’s level is lower than the Fenglope you are targeting .
You’ll also need a powerful sphere to trap this buddy which, again, can only be unlocked when your character is at least in their late 20s and early 30s. However, the work required to level up and train your friends to become stronger is worth it – Fenglope not only moves quickly, but he can also jump significant distances. There are a lot of streams, semi-small cliffs, and other obstacles that other land mounts cannot cross, but Fenglope can.
Once again, if you are at a lower level we strongly advise you to opt for a Pyrin before this one.
That’s all for now – but remember that the best mount is subjective. If you’re looking for more Palworld content, check out our guides showing you how to mount and ride a Pal, our picks for the best flying mount, or you can learn all about breeding Pals if catching them seems too stressful.
