The Nintendo Switch 2 arrives in June – as you may have heard – but at the moment, we are more focused on the best accessories for first generation switching consoles: the original switch, the Lite and Switch OLED switch. All these consoles now drop the price, so it's actually the right time to take one to a discount.
These are the best original switching accessories that we have found so far after years of testing, including some memory card suggestions – depending on whether you appreciate the aesthetics, value or total capacity – plus two of our favorite controllers and a classic case that always makes the company.

The Nitro Deck + is an incredible controller who replaces the Joy-Cons on the switch or the switch OLED, which makes it an ideal matching for an used switch that is sold on the screen only (ask me how I know!). The controller uses hall effect sensors for its sticks and triggers, so you do not have to cope with the drift of the sticks and includes additional programmable buttons at the rear, just like the Switch 2 Pro controller. Each control is also well done and precise, although you do not completely obtain the clickable sensation of certain high -end third -party controller buttons.
The nitro deck + is also available in a range of beautiful colors, although I like the most of the transparent design show of 00 here – and the special Gold of Rocket League edition rather more linked above. It should be noted that the Nitro + deck weighs more than the standard joy, so it can be a little more tiring to use or transport – but, as a bonus, I suppose it counts as a training of the arm?

OK, fundamentally, any micro SD card will work in the switch – unlike the SD Express micro SD only Switch 2 – but there is still something to say for a memory card that offers good performance and is decorated with the pretty face of Pikachu. This particular 256 GB card corresponds by coincidence to the storage capacity of the next Switch 2, offering you a lot of space for games, and with a class 10 note, it is relatively fast when transferring games to and from internal storage.
Of course, it is also worth checking the brand without brand (United Kingdom / United States), which are normally a little cheaper. This simple case of transport is the one that I have been using since 2018, and it served me brilliantly at that time. The case is perfectly proportioned to accept the switch or the OLED switch, 10 game cartridges and a multitude of accessories, additional joy-con units to a large portable charger (the latter is my essential choice, given the frequency I play on Switch on planes and trains).
The case is a bit bulky if you do not use this accessory space, but it is a bit snashable if necessary – while keeping your switching and your games in safety. This may not be the most decorated the most decorated, but it does the job and also does not cost the earth.

Nintendo knows one or two about the manufacture of large controllers, and the Switch Pro controller is a robust wireless option that is still worth recommending years later. The largest disposition is ideal for playing more demanding and precise games, both when anchored or supported in portable mode, and the life of the controller battery is also excellent.
The only drawback? This controller does not wear analog triggers, which is not a problem for switching games but which can cause discomfort if you use this as a PC controller.
