Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls Bowling Easter Egg and Deadwood Achievement Explained

With the Bowling Easter Egg in Black Ops 6 Zombies, you can literally have a game of bowling amidst the surrounding zombie scourge.

Don’t worry, zombies are also there and won’t attack you during this time. In fact, many of them will dance, encouraging you to get a high score in zombie bowling.

How to play zombie bowling, you ask? Well, just like standard bowling, you’ll use the bowling balls provided and throw them down the lanes to knock down the zombies parading in front of you.

The best approach here is to charge your bowl, as you will have more power and be more likely to knock down multiple zombies at once, earning you more points and leading to a better payout at the end.

Getting a high score is at the heart of this easter egg since, if you get a good score, you will receive various rewards for it, and unlock the Deadwood achievement by reaching a score of 300.

The rewards in question can range from less exciting rewards such as deadly and tactical weapons, to chances at high-tier weapons such as the Ray Gun magic weapon – so it’s definitely worth playing if you’re looking for some free loot!

Looking at reports online, a number of players recommend doing this Easter egg with other members of your party, suggesting that this increases the number of zombies you’ll encounter, making it easier to reach the high score and thus success. It’s worth a try if you’re having difficulty in a single-player game!

Black Ops 6 Zombies Liberty Falls Bowling Shoe Locations Listed

To begin the bowling mini-game, you’ll first need to do a bit of collectible hunting before the fun begins.

Specifically, you will need to search and discover the locations of five pairs of bowling shoes.

Once found, you’ll want to shoot them, and if done correctly, you’ll see a pink-purple shimmering effect and the shoes will disappear. There’s also a small audio signal, but it’s a little indistinct to really call it.

After finding and shooting the fifth pair, you will then be teleported to the bowling alley and straight into the mini-game.

If you want to try again, a few rounds later – after the conclusion of the mini-game – a sixth pair will appear. Photographing them will allow you to go back, and we’ve explained where to find them below.

For now, here is a list of all bowling shoe locations in Liberty Fallseach with a screenshot and map reference:

Bowling Shoe Location 1 – Pump and Pay Gas Station, East Main Street

This first pair you can get right after starting a match, without even opening any doors.

What you’ll want to do is get down to ground level and look inside the store at the Pump and Pay gas station, and on the counter will be the first pair of shoes you have to shoot.

Bowling Shoe Location 2 – Riverside, inside Frank’s Hardware Store

Close to the previous pair, the the second pair of bowling shoes can be found inside Frank’s Hardware store on the banks of the river.

To get there, you will need to head to the northeast corner of the map where you will reach a dead end in the street, and opposite Olly’s Comics will be the store.

Look through the door and you’ll see a pair of bowling shoes sitting at the very edge of the second shelf on the right side, which will become more visible as the light flashes.

Bowling Shoe Location Three – Hill Street, Groundskeeper’s Yard

THE third pair of bowling shoes is in the north of the map, inside the house near the gardener’s yard.

However, you’ll want to be on Hill Street specifically for this one and go up the stairs to look out the window.

Inside the room, on the right side is a chair and underneath you can see a lamp illuminating the pair of shoes – shoot it and move on to the next set.

Bowling Shoe Location Four – Graveyard, near Pack-A-Punch

For this one, you’ll need to head to the far left of the map, towards the upper left corner to reach the cemetery which is next to the church where Pack-A-Punch is located.

Once there, head to the back of the graveyard, to the left of the ammo cache, and look through an opening in the fence – an opening through which zombies can enter the map and where you will see a blood stain.

Straight ahead you should see the fourth pair of shoes hanging from a tree outside the cemetery.

Bowling Shoe Location Five – West Main Street, near Liberty Lanes

For the Fifth and final pair of shoes, you’ll want to go to West Main Street which is almost at the dead center of the map.

Once there, you’ll find a funeral parlor right next to the bowling alley itself – Liberty Lanes – and it’s here that you’ll find the final pair of shoes needed to activate the mini-game.

Specifically, look out the window from the street and you can spot the last pair of shoes on a coffin on the far left of the room.

Once you’ve shot it – you’ll need to have done the others in the same order we’ve listed them in – you’ll be teleported to the bowling alley where it’s time to put your zombie bowling skills to use!

How to try Easter egg bowling again in Liberty Falls

If you didn’t get the achievement, or just want to try again for better rewards, you can try the minigame again for a second chance.

You’ll have to give it a few spins – for me it was about six or seven – but there is a sixth pair of bowling shoes that appears after you try the Easter egg once.

You will find the sixth pair of bowling shoes sitting on the toilet in the Liberty Lanes bathroom‘ bowling, next to a wall of weapons and opposite the lanes themselves.

Opposite the bowling lanes themselves you will find this window next to a wall weapon, and inside is the toilet with which is the sixth pair of bowling shoes. | Image credit: Eurogamer/Activision

Come back every round or two to be sure, but once they respawn you can simply shoot them like you did the others, and moments later be teleported back into the bowling alley for another attempt.

Enjoy bowling with zombies!
