A fair number of players are complaining about Fortnite’s Boogie Bombs, which returned in Chapter 5 Season 3.
While waiting for the new collaboration with Fall Guys and the confirmation of the rumors about The Boys, the excitement is more active than ever throughout the island. Especially with the additions of the vehicle-centric post-apocalyptic zone and all the on-wheel action you can get free stuff from.
But there’s more than just action this season, as there are always moments to show off some dance moves.
The problem with Boogie Bombs in Fortnite
Players continued to complain about dancing grenades after their arrival in Chapter 5 Season 3.
The problem with Boogie Bombs in Fortnite is that they have become too annoying and essential to survive in the Battle Royale. They were reintroduced to the game to counter the powerful vehicles that dominate the meta, since bombs make you get out of cars and go dancing. And there’s not much you can do about it.
This makes sense, given that the vehicles were too powerful, but Boogie’s bombs might be even more powerful. And the problem is that you can stack up to 10 bombs, which seems to be the final straw for players.
“I feel like boogie bombs should be there, but a stack of 10 bombs is too much. I think 4 would be a good amount,” one player commented on Reddit. Other users were surprised because they thought the limit was 8 bombs. But some even think that it would be too high.
“I don’t care if they reduce the number, I won’t play until they remove Boogie Bombs from Fortnite. I hate them.”, added another player. And judging by the likes and comments, it’s a sentiment shared by many others.
Boogie Bombs are a relief against vehicles and other squads. But they stop being fun when they use them against you, because there’s not much you can do other than start dancing.
