Land of the Heavenly Fish location in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To find the Land of the Sky Fish, stand next to Sidon in Mipha’s Courtyard. Look up then east (use the compass around the edge of your minimap to help this.) If you’re having trouble stand where we’ve marked on the map below at coordinates (3960, 0539, 0490.)

You should see a set of sky islands very close to Mipha Court and these islands are the land of the sky fish. Also, if you head to your sky map after your first visit to the island, you’ll understand why these particular islands got their name.

How to Reach Sky Fish Land in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

Now, there are several ways to access the Sky Fish Land in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can build a flying machine using Zonai devices scattered near the edge of Mipha Court and fly to the island. However, here’s how we did it.

Stand on the edge of Mipha Court at these coordinates (3960, 0539, 0490) and look at the target islands above you. Wait for a large rock to fall from the sky. When it does, follow it to the ground using your paraglider to follow it safely.

Once you catch up to the boulder, stand on it and use your rewind ability to pull it up into the sky. Wait until you are slightly higher than the target island, then jump off your rock and glide to the island to land there safely.

Whichever way you chose to get there, once you’re on the Land of the Sky Fish, which is actually referred to as the Island of Floating Scales, you need to find the droplet-shaped rock.

When you’re standing here, look southwest and you should see the broken rock chunks floating around the island forming a teardrop shape. That’s the puzzle, and now all you have to do is solve it.

How to solve the Tear Drop puzzle in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

To solve the Tear Drop puzzle in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you will need a bow, some arrows, and the King’s Scales that King Dorephan gave you when you found him.

If you don’t have enough arrows on you, hit some of the wooden crates scattered around the island and they should drop a few bundles for you.

When you’re ready, attach one of King Dorephan’s scales to an arrow and aim for the middle of the teardrop. Shoot the arrow through the tear and watch what happens…

After the cutscene ends, return to Mipha Court to speak to Sidon and prepare to fight.

How to beat the Sludge Like in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom

The Sludge Like bursts into Mipha Court, but don’t worry, you now have Sidon on your side to defeat this mini-boss. This creature is a variant of the Likes scattered around Hyrule, only this one bathes in the sticky, muddy mud that causes chaos around the Zorana Highlands.

Here are our top tips for beating the Sludge Like:

  • clear the mud – This fight introduces you to Sidon’s ability to send a wave of water forward with a melee attack. Use this attack or Splash Fruit attached to arrows to clear mud from mud like to make it vulnerable.
  • Stay out of the mud – Link can’t run very fast through the Sludge but the Sludge Like can, so stay out of it as much as you can because the Sludge Like can easily be on top of Link in seconds if you get stuck.
  • Ranged combat is effective – While trying to take out the Sludge from the Sludge Like or just hit the creature, keeping your distance from the Sludge Like will give you a better chance of dodging incoming attacks.
  • bomb flowers – After removing the creature’s grip, attaching a bomb flower to an arrow and shooting it seriously damages it.
  • Fire elemental attacks – When we fought the Sludge Like, we used a Flame-Emitter Shield and it also hurt him badly once the Sludge was out of his body.
  • Dangly Bit Attack – After a few attacks on the Sludge Like, he will be on the ground for a brief time and the bag in the middle of his mouth will be exposed. Attack him repeatedly with your highest level melee weapon to take away significant chunks of his health.
  • Dodge projectile slime – Of course, the Sludge Like has its own set of attacks that cause a lot of damage, if you can’t dodge the projectile sludge attacks in time, equip Sidon’s water shield and it will protect you from the worst damage.
