There is 6 different types of weapons in Dauntless (Swords, axes, hammers, chain-blades, Aetherolances and Reatteries) but can be divided into 3 major categories:
Sharp weapons (Swords, Axes, Chain-blades and Reatteries): These weapons are basically deadly limb injury and can capture or destroy various parts of the beast. Basically, these weapons deal damage + 50% of the tails, they will also do + 50% damage to paralyzed legs.
Hammers: Empty weapons cause damage to organs and a considerable amount severe damage. Hammers can't cut the Behemoths' tail, but they are great for breaking limbs, disrupting attacks, and beating Behemoths down.
Awesome Weapons (Aetherolances): Terrible weapons carry heavy to cause damage to the members of Behemoth. A changed member will be injured by fire from sharp arms. Basically, spears do damage to -25% damage to non-injured parts, this penalty disappears once the member is changed.
Base damage is shown internally gray during combat and you will be released directly from the Behemoth PV base. All the weapons in the game affect the base damage rate, so this is an easy way to take the Behemoth. As Behemoth causes damage, spots will appear on his body. When the wounds are very important, it will be very important for the preservation of your PV, which allows you in the fight to know almost what to do to defeat the creature.
If you cause some kind of damage to the monsters, they will be shown up front with the effects of basic damage, but know that these will still be used in the background. Because of this, hitting a monster in the legs will do a lot of damage to it, even if it's only a leg injury in the mirror.
Damage to the legs is shown in yellow and they are used in the creature when you hit them in areas that may break, such as the head, tail or paws. This type of damage has no effect on the Behemoths & # 39; HP in the total pool but will reduce the total HP of the member in question. All the weapons in this game show a degree of arm damage, but sharp weapons have a huge advantage.
Damage to the joints can break various parts of the Behemoth in order to recover the building material to protect it from doing other things. When a leg is broken, its appearance changes and attacks and will repair the underlying damage.
Brick damage is shown blue and do not damage them in a separate pool of Behemoth HP, however, they can shock and distract them after a certain limit has passed. To do more damage, you must hit the target head or legs, headaches are more effective. When the Behemoth is in shock, players with certain cells will be able to deal bonus damage.
Knives, swords and blade chains can cause great damage, but hammers are most effective when it comes to Behemoth.
Variable damage is displayed internally red and allow "converting" the destructive part of Behemoth. The woven body lump will take up to 50% damage from swords, axes and blade chains and 25% from hammers, making swinging a great way to quickly destroy various parts of the beast.
Note that without the use of certain cells, only the spears can do the silent damage. Also note that the spears receive a 25% damage penalty in the unarmed parts of Behemoth. If these members are injured, the spears will face 100% of their damage.
