Learn the Dungeon and Raid Rotation allows you to progress faster through the Destiny 2 leveling end game.
Each week, a new dungeon and raid are highlighted to give Pinnacle drops – the most powerful gear in Destiny 2.
It’s also a great excuse to go back to some previous endgame activities you may have overlooked – and get some unique loot along the way.

How does the Destiny 2 raid and dungeon rotation schedule work?
Destiny 2 contains a number of dungeons and raids. These are late-game activities, designed for teams of three and six skilled Guardians, respectively.
The last of each will drop Pinnacle rewards the first time you complete them each week, resetting on the weekly reset.
In Season of Plunder, the current dungeon is Duality and the current raid is King’s Fall.
In addition to this, an older dungeon and raid will be featured and will also give a Pinnacle reward upon completion. It’s only on the final boss – so feel free to join a friend or squad if they have a checkpoint.
The Pinnacle will only drop once, but you can also mine the featured dungeon and raid for legendary gear specific to those locations. It’s a great way to complete your collection and/or hunt for a god roll on a specific weapon, such as Vault of Glass’s Fatebringer.
Destiny 2 Dungeon Rotation: What is the Pinnacle Dungeon this week?
In addition to the final dungeon (duality), there are four legacy dungeons, each rotating to offer a Pinnacle reward each week once you complete the final encounter.
The Destiny 2 Dungeon schedule is as follows:

- August 30 to September 5
The season of plunder has arrived! New additions include the Sails of the Shipstealer quest and Quicksilver Storm. Meanwhile, there is the arrival of King’s Fall. Before that, haunting season continues. Familiarize yourself with our leveling guide before tackling the Duality dungeon and learn how to collect Calus Bobblehead locations, Calus Automaton locations, and find all Opulent Key chests. For The Witch Queen, find out how to get Exotics including Dead Messenger and Parasite. Late last year, we saw Bungie’s 30th anniversary, which introduced the Grasp of Avarice dungeon, weird rooms, and new Exotics including the Gjallarhorn and Forerunner.
