How to Get Krait in Destiny 2
Krait is part of the World Loot pool. This means that it is not tied to a specific activity and can drop randomly from any source that can reward Legendary loot. There’s no pattern for that either, so you can’t craft Krait.
The best thing to do is farming activities that offer legendary rewards. This means that the Vanguard playlist can be a good choice and potentially reward Krait after passing. You can also decode unfocused Umbral Engrams to fire his weapon.
Be sure to equip the Ghost mod Prosperity (Vanguard). This gives Playlist Strikes and Nightfalls a chance to drop additional legendary gear upon completion, which includes weapons like Krait.
Otherwise, continue playing whatever you want in Destiny 2 and keep an eye on your inventory and/or your postmaster. Krait can go down at almost any time, and when it does, you want to make sure you don’t accidentally drop it.
Destiny 2 God Krait Roll Recommendation
Krait is excellent at discharging damage taken from close to medium range. It’s stasis kinetics, and has the original Veist Stinger featurewhich has a chance to refill the magazine each time you damage an enemy.
A perfect, or “god roll”, Krait is designed for relentless damage, with prolonged sustained fire that takes out groups of enemies in PVE and puts pressure on opposing Guardians in PVP.
Here is our recommended Krait god roll in Destiny 2:
- Arrowhead
- Ricochet Pucks
- Subsistence
- tomb stone
Arrowhead brake is an easy choice for Krait. Recoil control is key to hitting your target while shooting continuously, and Arrowhead Brake’s boost to that and maneuverability is significant.
Ricochet Pucks further increase Krait’s stability, while increasing range. Clever Guardians will also realize that you can use it to reflect bullets off hard surfaces, allowing you to spray shots at walls or the ground to keep pressure on Guardians hidden behind cover, or deal indiscriminate damage to groups of weak enemies.
Subsistence suits Krait perfectly. With this perk, 14% of the weapon’s magazine is refilled after a kill. This means that a group of adds can keep Krait filled and firing indefinitely.
tomb stone is a powerful advantage, if you know how to use it. Any enemy killed leaves behind a Stasis Crystal, the so-called tombstone of this perk. This crystal does several good things. Some enemies will target it, drawing fire from you. It can freeze enemies that touch it. You can also shoot him with a stasis weapon (like Krait) to shatter him, dealing a burst of damage all around. It’s a Swiss army knife of stasis energy, and extremely useful.
As usual, once you have your favorite jet, be sure to upgrade it to a Masterwork to give it a stat boost, the ability to generate orbs on multiple kills, and add the option of a kill tracker!
