Destiny 2 We stay unbroken is a quest that runs throughout the season of Defiance.
Each season, Destiny 2 has a story that updates with new stages every week – requiring you to participate in seasonal activities to progress.

How starting the We Stand Unbrokwn quest in Destiny 2 works
Access to We Stand Unbroken is suspended until you complete the first Destiny 2: Lightfall campaign mission. You’ll be pulled into intro cutscenes the first time you load up Destiny 2 during this season. After that, you will be dropped off at a mission.
It’s a long journey that eventually lands you in a public area of Neomuna on Nepture. Here, visit your new friend Nimbus, a vendor representing Neptune’s Cloudstriders. He will advance the story of Lightfall, then offer you the Ascending Scepter Seasonal Artifact.
It starts on Awaken Queensguard Quest. You will need to complete this for the We Stand Unbroken quest to begin.
The steps for this quest are:
1. Visit the holoprojector near Nimbus in Neomuna and receive a message
2. Talk to Mar a Sov at the farm in the EDZ
3. Visit the holoprojector at the farm for a briefing from Devrim Kay
4. Infiltrate the Pyramid Outpost in Defiant Battleground: EDZ
5. Visit the War Table in the HELM
Like most seasonal quests, We Stand Unbroken will follow a similar pattern from week to week. You will need to visit certain NPCs, participate in the seasonal activity, and complete a few miscellaneous objectives to advance the plot.
We Stand Unbroken has a total of 28 stages, with only a certain number of stages being released each week. You can either play them as they release or wait until later in the season to play them en masse – whatever suits you!
Destiny 2 We Stand Unbroken Week 1 Quest (Stages 1-6)
Once you have completed the Awaken, Queensguard quest, you can begin the We Stand Unbroken stages:
1. Claim the Week 1 Seasonal Challenge “Righteous Defiance” to earn a War Table upgrade.
2. Visit the War Table in the HELM for a debrief with Mara Sov.
3. Choose your first Awakened Boon from the War Table Upgrade menu.
4. Collect 3 Awakening Favors in Defiant Battlegrounds and complete 1 Defiant Battlegrounds playlist.
5. Visit the farm to debrief with Mara Sov
4. The Vanguard and its allies are working to save more prisoners from the Shadow Legion. The Queensguard will be called in when their help is needed.
Season of the Seraph is here alongside More Than a Weapon, Seraph Key Codes and Resonate Stems and the addition of Rose in Crucible. You can also complete the Good Boy Protocol secret quest to make a new friend. We also saw a new dungeon, Spire of the Watcher, with a chance of the Hierarchy of Needs dropping at the end. When does the We Stand Unbroken quest expire?
Often, seasonal quests will last longer than the end of their particular season. The season of Defiance must end during the weekly reset of the tuesday 23 may.
It is likely that there will be some kind of epilogue mission during the last week of the season. However, if previous updates are any indication, it’s likely that Guardians who haven’t completed We Stand Unbroken will still be able to complete quest steps in the next season.
