How important are courses in Diablo Immortal?
Choosing a class is an important step before entering Diablo Immortal. Currently, you are limited to one class and have no way to create new characters. So it’s important to keep in mind that a class will determine what your options are when attacking enemies, how much damage you can take, etc. In other words, each class has its strengths and weaknesses. Ask yourself if you prefer to face close combat or if taking advantage of long-range attacks is more your style, for example.
In Diablo Immortal, here are the classes available so far:

Depending on the class you choose, the way you approach the content offered by Diablo Immortal is different. Some classes are better for soloing, like the Barbarian, but that might be a harder idea if you choose a Wizard.

Best Beginner Courses in Diablo Immortal
Of the six classes in Diablo Immortal, there are four good options for beginners to level up, go through dungeons, and defeat bosses.
Barbarian class
First of all, Barbarian is the simplest and easiest to play. As a traditional dual-wielding fighter, this class is all about hitting as hard as you can. And as a tank class, the Barbarian can take a lot of damage before you need to use a healing potion while also causing a massive amount of damage.
Running is not an option for the Barbarian, as the class has very low mobility. On the other hand, this is compensated by keeping the class alive. His basic attack has a passive ability that heals the character based on the percentage of damage dealt every three hits, which is a great option for single target combat.
But if you’re facing a group of enemies, a combo of Chained Spear, Cleave, and Hammer of the Ancients will be enough to clear the area quickly. It also has a stronger form as an ultimate skill, improving your damage and healing. If you like a melee class that rages through enemies, Barbarian is your pick!
Necromancer Class
Maybe you’re not much into direct confrontations and would like to look pissed off while fighting demons. If so, the Necromancer is your best bet. This is a DPS-focused class, so will inevitably take a little more damage than a Barbarian, but thanks to the summoned skeletons that follow you around, taking on enemies becomes an easier feat.
Keep in mind that the Necromancer is a mid-range fighter, so you’ll usually get close enough to enemies to get hit with attacks. Use your skeletons to tank enemies, protecting you from unnecessary damage. On the other hand, to maximize your damage, you should take advantage of the Necromancer’s ability to explode corpses that will spawn when enemies are defeated or by using skills like the Grim Scythe. Groups of enemies and even bosses will drop if there are enough corpses to be blasted.
Crusader class
If you’d rather swing into action instead of fighting with minions like the Necromancer or want to come face-to-face with enemies and tank damage but have more utility than the Barbarian, then your best shot is the Crusader class. This heavily armored warrior will make up for low mobility and average damage with his ability to affect enemies by incapacitating and grouping them.
For example, the Crusader Spinning Shield throwing skill deals damage to enemies in front of you and pulls them in your direction when the shield returns. Once they’re grouped in front of you, use the Shield Glare to blind them long enough to attack and clear the area. You can even use a horse to attack and chain enemies together to group them together.
This class also has good single target damage with its basic attacks which receive an upgrade when the ultimate is activated.
Demon hunter class
Our final recommendation is for you who want a good starting class but also feel adventurous enough to focus more on damage and less on survivability. In this case, the Demon Hunter is the way to go. This is a long rage class that uses two small crossbows to shoot demons and must keep enough distance to survive enemy attacks.
Compared to the other three classes, it is the weakest in terms of damage, so it is extremely important to avoid staying in one place during the attack. This is a very fun class to play once you get used to changing positions. However, this is a less complex class since you won’t have to worry about skill synergy. Don’t stop shooting your arrows and use your skills to keep your enemies away from you.
On the other hand, Demon Hunter’s skill set offers good options for area attacks or changing stance. Rain of Vengeance covers a large area dealing damage to all enemies within, while you can use Daring Swing to evade incoming enemies and become invulnerable when changing stances. Don’t forget of course the basic attack of the Demon Hunter, a great source of damage.
For a beginner, this course may be a little more difficult than the previous ones, but it is still manageable.
How to change your character class in Diablo Immortal
The developers of Diablo Immortal have already announced that this entry in the series will have a new feature to help with character progression: class change.
As a live service game, Diablo Immortal will change with each patch. So to provide players with the ability to adapt to the new meta or experiment with a different playstyle without having to level up a whole new character for every update or keep up with lots of alts, they’ll be giving the possibility to change the class of your characters and respect the current level and equipment.
However, this feature is not yet available in gamebut should be implemented in the near future.
