Complete the Disa’s Plot Quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 is one of the first things you need to do after entering Vernworth and meeting Captain Brant. Having established that you are indeed the Ascended, you will soon be set to work to bring down the false ruler.
This quest will ask you to sneak around the palace to find evidence of Disa’s wrongdoing. This Dragon’s Dogma 2 quest may seem simple at first, but there are a few moments where you might stumble, especially when it comes to quickly escaping the castle before a guard spots you.

How to start the Disa’s Plot quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To start the Disa’s Plot quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must follow the main story until you reach Vernworth. We found that it was much quicker and easier to get to Vernworth if you decide to stay with the soldiers after fighting the Cyclops.
Once you arrive in Vernworth, you talk to Captain Brant and after a brief conversation with him, he will ask you to find him at the Stardrop Inn after dark.
When it gets dark, you’ll find Brant leaning against the bar of the inn. Approach him and interact with him, he will then lead you to an isolated table. After talking a little more, three options will appear on your screen. To start the quest Disa’s Plot, select the “Tell me about the Queen Regent” option.
Accept once the option presents itself, and you will start Disa’s Plot but you can only complete this quest at night. If it’s still daylight, you’ll need to spend some time.
How to pass time in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To pass the time in Vernworth in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you can do different things:
- Talk to Glenna behind the bar at the Starburst Inn and select the “Pass Time” option to advance substantially, although this will be more difficult if you want a specific time of day.
- Sit on a bench and press the requested command for “Doze off” if it appears.
- Visit a hostel and pay to stay here by choosing the “Sleep until daylight” or “Sleep until dark” option.
How to complete the Disa’s Plot quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2
To complete Disa’s plot in Dragon’s Dogma 2, you must wait for nightfall And sneak into the palace through the back entrance to enter the main office to find evidence of Disa’s plans.
Sneak into the palace
After dark, head to the palace in the Noble Quarter in the southern part of Vernworth. Use the quest icon on your map to guide you:
Once there, go through the main door. At this point your pawns will leave you as this is a restricted area. However, as soon as you enter the portal, you will encounter a guard named Sonia who will be ready to help you. Follow it to the rear entrance to the guardhouse.
Find the evidence
Go through the door next to Sonia and it will take you to the guard post. Here, look to your right and you should find a chest. In this chest there are several pieces of armor that we recommend you don:
- Walking’s Thighs
- Marcher’s Armor
- Marcher’s Helm
There are also a few bags of gold in the room that are worth collecting before continuing.
When you’re ready, go through the door across from the chest, then go around the archway on your right.
Once through this archway, head right again and go down the hallway until you come to a small door that leads to a spiral staircase on your right.
Go up the stairs and, once at the top, head to your left and then go through the second door on the left here towards the Vernworth offices.
In this room, head to the main office and collect the torn, glowing letter from the table. Once done, another character will enter the room.
Escape from the palace
After conversing with this character, you will have to escape from the palace. To do this, head to the window next to the main office, then carefully slide the roof down to the ground.
Once on the ground, walk to the right passing through the large arch here. Continue following the main path here and go down another small set of steps.
Continue straight until you see a set of steps on your left leading up to the main gate. Take them down and exit through the main door, at this point your pawns will join you.
Deliver the torn letter
Now all you have to do is return to the Stardrop Inn in the Merchant District. Talk to Brant and, once again, he will lead you to the isolated table. Once here, select the “Tell me about the Queen Regent” option again to give her the torn letter. The quest will now be complete!
