Walkthrough for Auriza’s Hero’s Tomb
Exiting from where you fought the Draconic Tree Sentinal fight won’t work here. Instead, you’ll need to take the following route to get to Auriza’s Hero’s Tomb, starting at the Site of Grace.Outer Wall Battlefield‘ to reach the tomb:
There are two bears hanging out in front of the entrance. Open the tomb door, take the elevator, activate the Site of Grace’Tomb of the hero Auriza” and in the first room there is the possibility of using a Stonesword key.
If you sacrifice one of these keys, you will receive the Golden epitaph Straight Sword as a reward, but you’ll need to eliminate the Basilisk Frogs first before you can claim it.
Then follow the only remaining path up a slope, at the end of which a tank appears.
How to get past the first Chariot
The tank will start running towards you. To avoid being hit, you can either:
- Stay back and wait briefly until he reaches the top and turns around, then sprint behind him.
- Run straight the first time. The tank will only appear after traveling a few meters. Watch out for the slight seal on the ground.
When the tank is on you, hide in the alcove to the right of the slope (where two skeletons appear) and wait for it to pass you before going back up. You can then go down and breathe a little between the two pillars:
Warning: you really have to stand right between the pillars with blood splattersotherwise the tanks will catch you with their spikes on the sides when you turn around.
The corpse on the ledge holds 5x Fan Dagger for us and at this point the path forks. You can either continue straight on the slopeOr unfold a level to the corpse.
How to pass the pair of Chariots
If you unfold by the corpse behind the first tank (see right), you will find yourself in a room with 1x Funeral Glovewort (6). Be careful, as this area is full of basilisks that crawl out of the ground and spray you with their deadly blight very quickly.
Collect 1x Ghost Glovewort (5) into the next room and follow the hallway north, where another basilisk attacks from the right.
Take 1x Funeral Glovewort (5) and you will arrive on the final slope of this section. This path is basically a shortcut without having to walk past the tanks every time.
However, if you choose to continue straight on the slope to the west, you will have to run as soon as the second tank arrives and take cover in the right alcove. The whole thing is a little tight, so you may need several attempts.
Continue along the slope to the north, where two tanks are now activating next to each other. Go down and change lanes halfway.
After a few meters, you will discover an alcove in the middle where you are safe. You will find 1x Ghost Glovewort (6) next to a skeleton and 1x Stone Sword Key near the corpse on the ledge. Continue on the path and take the opportunity to recover 1x Funeral Glovewort (6).
At the bottom of the slope, position yourself right between the pillars again, otherwise the tank coming from the north will catch up with you when you turn around. The corpse on the left will give you 1x Golden Rune (7)
As soon as you have a clear path, go up the slope to the north and take cover in the alcove on the right to let the tank pass. The massive door can be opened with bare hands.
Follow the steps and kill the skeletons along the way. You can face the bosses behind the wall of fog (yes, plural…). But first we will finish exploring the cave.
Explore the hidden areas of Auriza’s Hero’s Tomb
There is another path that is not immediately obvious. At the last tank before the boss, you can drop onto a wooden beam below at the height of the corpse with the Golden Rune.
The corpse on the inclined beam provides us Sacred fat. Follow the path of the beam next to this location:
Kill the basilisk in the rooms behind him and you will find 1x Funeral Glovewort (5) as well as a corpse with the Vulgar Militia Ashes.
The adjacent ladder takes you back to the familiar area with the tanks. But there is much more here.
Return to the wooden beams you fell on. Below you will see stone arches, and to the south is another area that can be explored.
Be careful with the lone skeleton so that it doesn’t push you into the abyss. After the ladder you will reach another slope on which there is a tank.
Wait for the tank to go down and get back up. In the room with the flamethrower there is 1x Funeral Glovewort (6).
You can hit the pillar and make it rise upwards, causing the flames to spit into the passage with the tank.
Go down to the south and take cover briefly in the left alcove until the carriage comes back up. Sprint down and go into the passage with the two skeletons.
Destroy the tanks
Behind these skeletons, go straight into a room with a large enemy guarding the Crucible Feather Talisman.
On the left is an elevator that goes up a few floors. We find ourselves in a room with a fire-breathing pillar. Hit it to redirect the fire back to the elevator you came from.
At the end of the corridor you can now loot 1x Funeral Glovewort (6) And 3x large dragonfly head.
Then return to the pillar and hit it so that the light falls into the room with the tanks. Run to the end of the hallway where the items were.
If you did everything correctly, the tanks will crash into each other and be destroyed. This gives us a lot of elements: the Ashes of War: Sacred Land and the Tree Sentinel Set. The tomb is now fully explored and we can face the Crucible Knight Ordovis boss, which features a fight against two, yes two, Crucible Knights.
