THE Catacombs Touched by Death in Elden Ring are a place in Limgrave.
This is a fairly old dungeon in Elden Ring and the boss within it, while tricky, is not impossible to defeat if you’re a beginner. There’s also a good amount of loot to be had if you fully explore this catacomb.
Here is our Elden Ring Deathtouched Catacombs Walkthroughmore how to beat the black knife assassin boss in the catacombs.

Elden Ring Deathtouched Catacombs Walkthrough
You’ll find them west of the Sacred Bridge, in a rock wall that serves as camouflage for the entrance gate. Here’s the location on the map:
Inside, activate the “Death-Touched Catacombs” grace site and follow the path to the room with the large door, which must first be opened using the lever. In the left corridor, skeletons attack and their glittering remains must be destroyed to keep them dead.
Head down the stairs and clear out all the boneheads in the room. The obvious path on the right will lead you to a larger area filled with skeleton enemies, including an archer on the top-left platform (we’ll show you how to get there in a moment).
Be careful when entering and lure them towards you one by one if possible. The room at the end contains the lever to open the heavy boss door and a corpse with 3x Blood Rose.
Before we tackle the catacombs boss, we can explore a narrow side passage in the previous room:
This leads to an area where two skeletons are guarding some materials. Through the left passage, you will reach the platform with the archer skeletons and discover a corpse with the Uchigatana Katana.
How to Beat the Death-Touched Catacombs Black Knife Assassin Boss in Elden Ring
This boss only has a little over half of his energy bar and seems very weakened. You can block his attacks with your shield and send him a defensive counterattack to defeat him.
Due to his agility and sudden movements, he can still be a challenge for low-level and inexperienced characters. This should be the case, so don’t worry.
Remember that in the boss room you can use summons with the spirit ash to distract the assassin while you have time to give him a good beating.
Unlike his colleague who appears later in the Black Knife catacombs, however, he always fights very cautiously and should not present you with any unsolvable problems.
Your rewards for beating them are 1600 Runes, Violet Assassin’s Blade, 1x Death Root (in the treasure chest.)
Once the Black Blade Assassin is defeated, you can use the teleporter to return to the catacombs entrance and continue your adventures.
