Elden Ring Earthbore Cave Tour
At the location marked on the map below, look for a slope with water on the right leading to the rock face that forms the starting point.
Activate the Earthbore Cave grace site and follow the passage deeper inside. The treasure chest is tempting, but before you open it you’ll crash through the collapsing floor (unless you continue to the right) and find yourself in front of a family of rats. Nasty.
There are two corridors leading from here. After a corpse with 1x Golden Rune (1), one of them will take you back to the treasure chest, which can now be safely looted. It contains 3x Marinated turtleneck.
The other passage leads to two corpses with 5x Luminous Stones And 8x KukriDrop down behind them and you’ll find yourself in the passage in front of the boss.
How to defeat the Runebear in Earthbore Cave in Elden Ring
Be very careful when the bear stands on its hind legs and spreads its arms. Dodge its grip to avoid being crushed. Either by dropping or by literally hugging itself until it dies.
He can attack quite quickly with his legs in close combat, making it difficult to counterattack.
Occasionally he’ll attack with his mouth or simply knock you over, but overall the Runebear doesn’t have any truly unusual attacks up his sleeve.
Be careful when he punches the ground. He’ll do this twice in a row if you want to take advantage of the situation.
If the bear crushes you at first, it’s due to its strength and not any particularly spectacular moves. With a higher level and a better weapon, it’s not a problem if you push it back at first.
Your rewards for defeating them are 2600 runes, 5x Smoking Butterfly, 1x Trina Lily and the Magic Dragon Talisman.
